Jack Black on Piracy

Keep Their Heads Ringing

This makes the cut because the guy is ringing a bell, regardless of whether it looks like it or not, and bells make music.  It also makes the cut because it's pretty funny.  Click here to see the Texas Tech "bellringer" in action.

Texas Tech supposedly lets freshman be the "bellringer" for the football team on kickoffs or something and well, this guy is great at his job.

Born to Boogie

BorntoboogieI have yet to get my fill of this DVD.  If you are in anyway a fan of Marc Bolan and T. Rex and don't have this yet... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!  The chance to see Marc perform live in front of a crowd at Wembley Arena and also with fellow stars Ringo Starr and Elton John, in the basement of the Beatles' London offices, makes this a must have.

As this fantastic Ringo Starr-directed concert film from 1972 makes abundantly clear, Marc Bolan's main achievement was to demonstrate that you could actually make pubescent girls wee their pants with excitement by writing brilliant songs, playing loud, raucous electric guitar, looking great, and having a superb band.

In a live setting, stripped of producer Tony Visconti's distinctive textured ambience, songs like Get it On are transformed into tribal rock freak-outs.
